Lash Extensions

The Hybrid Lash Extension Set is a combination of the Classic Technique (also called the 1:1 lash method, where one .15 mm diameter false lash is attached to one natural lash) and hand-made Volume Technique (volume fans are created using between 2 to 5 false lashes, each false lash being either .07 mm or .05 mm in diameter).  The result is a varied textured; fluffier look with more fullness than a Classic Lash Extension set. This look was made popular by the Kardashians, the lash line has an almost spiky look. The Hybrid full set takes about 2 hours & 25 minutes. Several lighter thinner lash extensions are fanned and stacked onto each natural lash in a staggered fashion, which creates an added fullness. 

 

The Volume Lash Extension Set provides clients with a high level of density and thickness for a glamorous look. The lash extensions used in this technique are significantly thinner in diameter than the lash extension used for the Classic Technique. Volume lashes are fluffy, light and give the client’s lashes a fuller look; perfect for those who have sparse lashes or just want an edgy look without having to use a thicker lash. The Volume full set takes about 2 hours and 25 minutes or longer depending on the look that needs to be achieved.

Medical-grade adhesive is used when attaching lash extensions to the client’s natural lashes and  utmost importance is placed on giving them quality service with long-lasting results.

Lash Fills: If clients come in for a fill with less than 40% of lashes (lash extensions), the service would be considered a full set, not a fill. An average person loses around 5 lashes per day naturally during a normal lash cycle. Lash fills should be done every 2 – 3 weeks based on the client's lash style (Hybrid or Volume) and the retention they keep. Ensuring lash fills are done in time helps to have full, fresh and gorgeous lashes. Once 30 days have passed since the last lash appointment, the client is due for a full lash extension set.

If a client has lashes done by another Lash Studio and requires a fill, first an assessment will  be made to make sure the client has at least 60% of their lashes to proceed with a fill. 

​

Lash Removal: If previous lash extension needs to be removed, the technician will ensure the clients lashes are cleaned thoroughly and then proceed to give them a brand new look. Lash removal is painless and rather quick, it is recommended that clients do not attempt to remove their lashes at home but get lash removal done professionally to help keep the integrity of their natural lashes.
